General Registration Information

Registrations will be available in December 2008. Policies and preliminary fees are posted below.

General information: Conference registrations include attendance to all PerCom associated workshops and events. There is no workshop-only registration. The preferred payment method for PerCom 2008 is on-line credit card payment - we have invested a considerable amount of efforts and money into making our server secure; furthermore, our credit card processing company is a leading and reliable merchant.
Discounted registration fees will be available for members of the IEEE. Discounts are also available for students (except for presented papers).
Early registration: The cut-off date for early registrations is 11:59 pm CST on February 15th, 2009. Our servers will be automatically updated for the appropriate early/late charges.
Refund policy: There is a $35 service charge for processing refunds. A letter or email requesting the refund should state the pre-registrant's name and to whom the refund should be issued to. Requests for registration refunds must be received before February 15th, 2009. No refunds will be issued after February 15th, 2009. There is no refund for registration fees on author registrations. Author registrations may be transferred (for free) to a co-author if the original registree cannot attend.
Author registration deadline is 11:59pm CST, January 7th, 2009. Each accepted paper (main conference or any affiliated workshops) has to have one author registered as a full (non-student) technical session attendee. For authors who have several accepted papers, one of the papers has to have a full (non-student) registration, while all other papers of the author may have a student (co-author) registration. However the registration page does not have this option listed; please send an email to zaruba@uta.edu with supporting information to take advantage of this restricted option.
Funds must be received for any registration by the respective dates, i.e., faxes and checks should be sent appropriately.
Banquet policies: Student registration fees do not include tickets to the banquet. If you register as a student and wish to attend the banquet make sure you purchase an additional ticket.
Other policies: No visa request letters will be issued to non-author registrants or registrants not personally known by the General Chairs. Payments made with fraudulent/stolen credit cards will be reported to the FBI/Interpol and will be subject to criminal investigations.
