Mannheim is pretty central in Germany. You can easily trave to Mannheim by car, train or plane. PerCom will be located in the "Schloss", the palace central to Mannheim's city center. The following link shows directions in Mannheim to the palace: http://www.uni-mannheim.de/1/english/university/university_campus/directions/index.html

In order to get to Mannheim, you can travel by car, plane or train. For international visitors the easies way to get to Mannheim is via Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) http://www.frankfurt-airport.com. There is an excellent connection with the German Rail System (Deutsche Bahn) to Mannheim Central Station. As an alternative, the connection from the airport to Mannheim by car is also a fast and easy way to travel.

Information about train schedules can be found at DB Bahn's web site: http://www.bahn.de/i/view/USA/en/index.shtml

Please note, that there are further airports that may be convenient for your travel. Frankfurt Hahn (HHN) http://www.hahn-airport.de/default.aspx?menu=passengers_visitors&cc=en is located less central than Frankfurt International Airport but there are bus services (direction Heidelberg) that stop at Mannheim Central Station. Low cost carriers offer services to Frankfurt Hahn.

The Mannheim Airport (MHG) http://flugplatz-mannheim.de/en/index.html connects Mannheim to other German cities. In many cases, a flight to Frankfurt International and a switch to train service is the more convenient way to travel.
