Online Paper Submission Instructions

PerCom 2003 utilizes a local installation of EDAS-3, an online conference management software developed at Columbia University. Authors are required to submit their papers using this system.

  • Accepted file formats for online submission are: pdf (portable data format from Adobe) and ps (postscript from Adobe). Please make sure, that your files are self-contained and do not require any other files/libraries in order to be opened and printed.

  • Authors need to create an account for themselves in PerCom's EDAS by clicking on this link. After registration, an email will be sent to the registered email with the assigned password.

  • Registered users can log in either by clicking on the link in the email received from EDAS (the email that also contains the password), or by clicking on this link, and logging in using the email address (as the login name) and the password supplied by EDAS.

  • After logging in users can change view their profile (conflict of interest list, password, etc.) by clicking on their name and then on the paper/pen icon.

  • Paper submission is a two-step process: first papers have to be registered and then they have to be uploaded using the web-interface.

    1. Papers can be registered by clicking on the paper/pen icon under the "Submit paper" sign.
If paper is co-authored by not recognized authors, their contact information has to be entered so these authors can automatically be registered and informed.

    2. Please upload your paper from your browser by clicking the "upload" link on the "Submitting Paper" screen. Email submissions are not available!

  • Authors who have more papers to submit should register and upload each paper separately (using their user name and password).
